RJ Twinney Recreation Centre, Newmarket

By Mina and ten participant students from FAÇADE, School of Art, along with representatives from Starlight Children’s Foundation and the staff at Grafic for Men will be attending the Legends Hockey Game.  The students will have the opportunity to meet their partnered celebrity athlete for their Starlight Gala art work. NHL partnering athletes include: Borje Salming, Bobby Hull, Glen Anderson, Rick Vaive, Bernie Nichols, Steve Shutt, Dave Ellett, Bryan Trottier, Gary Leeman and Billy Smith.  The students will have a private meet and greet session with the athletes and The Starlight Collector’s 2010 pieces will be autographed and photographs will be taken for future record, as well as for Starlight Gala and portfolio use.  Afterward, students will enjoy the evening watching the Legends Hockey Game.
